Different Types of Breathwork

Why it is important to know

Not all sessions are created with the same intentions:

Breathwork can be done:

Daily

Weekly

Monthly

It all depends on your needs.

Breathwork can help with:

Centering yourself daily

It can help in the moment when you are feeling dysregulated.

It can help you fall asleep, it can take you out of an anxious moment.

Some versions are short and gentle, and taught to help throughout your day.

Other versions are longer helping you process stuck emotions.

It is important to know what you are getting yourself into before entering a session.

Some sessions are more liberating of stuck emotions then other's.

These cathartic sessions or breakthrough sessions require more time and are not

recommended daily or weekly.

It is important to ask your facilitator what their intent is for their session.

Or read the website or social media to see what they offer. 

If you are not ready for a session that encourages screaming to get rid of stuck energy, it can be alarming.

That being said, keep in mind that in order to heal, one must feel!! 

Healing is messy!! 

Allowing yourself to feel emotions you have been

suppressing, is extremely liberating!! 

Breathwork brings you into your own head to process what you need to process in a non-judgmental environment.

The facilitator's goal is to help you process what comes up for you. Your own private thoughts, guiding you to process them and let them go so that they no longer burden you. What you process is your own private business. It's always up to you if you want to share at the end of a session or not.
